Mike van Amsterdam, who followed his mechanical engineering studies at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, graduated with praise with a project at Hooymans Products.

It is sometimes said that many hands make light work, but thanks to our (former) intern Mike van Amsterdam, we can easily finish the same work with fewer hands. During his graduation project, Mike realized an indexing table for our welding robot.

Multiple products can be attached to this revolving table, allowing the robot to work longer without the intervention of hands. That works out well, because these free hands are badly needed elsewhere in the company when at the same time the welding robot is running at full speed.

Mike has now graduated with a high degree for mechanical engineering at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. His time at Hooymans Products was so positive that he is now employed in the development department and we hope that he will make even more great innovations at Hooymans Products in the coming years.
